Good news, bad news, and chocolate milk?
As many of you already know, since last year we have been hard at work on the follow up to Entanglement. What you guys may not know is that many big changes have happened at FOTA headquarters and major plans are being mapped out as you read this. For starters, there's this neat little album called Enormous Cloud that we've been working on and currently in the late recording stages of it. You can expect to be making sweet love with this album as the soundtrack by early Summer.
With this news comes even greater news. As of 2013 we are officially managed by The Inner Light Agency. We're excited to be working with the agency and we look forward to making big things happen together.
More good news to be excited about? We are currently setting up tour dates for spring and summer. Dates will be announced soon...very soon.
Unfortunately, at this moment we must give you guys the bad news. We will be parting ways with our vocalist Ray Hodge. As much as it saddens us to lose him as a member of the FOTA family, everything happens for a reason. We want to assure everyone that this decision was mutual and in no way personal. We love Ray and we'll always be down to play strip monopoly with him on weekends. He will be missed and we're happy we had the opportunity of having him on the team. Our last show with Ray will be March 27th at The Morgan (250 Varet st Brooklyn, NY) with This Or The Apocalypse, Erra, and many more awesome bands. With that said, we must move forward as a band. We have major plans for the next few months and we will be looking for a new vocalist. Anyone who feels that they would enjoy being part of Fall Of The Albatross is welcome to audition.
